hi there everyone,

Yves Gendron (from the Mobius Home Video Forum) has posted a link to her biography of Yuen Wah, here:

 http://brns.com/hkactors/pages/page49.html

Thought it might interest a few people here, 'specially those with an interest in martial arts and action films... lots of pictures and info.

Awesomely detailed bio.

I think I've only seen him in DRAGONS FOREVER which was quite the wacky hijinks borefest until the last half an hour when you get to see Yuen Wah fight and it threatened to become the greatest film ever. He looks exactly the way the author of Tintin thought Chinese people looked like.

It seems I must now see THE ICEMAN COMETH, based on that screenshot of him with the sunnies on riding atop a fast moving car. The story sounds like a crappy Highlander knockoff. Synopses of these kinds of films should stop describing them by plot points and story concept to entice you to see them, they really should describe the stunts and gimmicks instead ...

Genius.

Yuen Wah kicks ass. His fight with Sammo and Yuen Biao in EASTERN CONDORS is one of the greats.
