Cosmos have a very extensive collection of rental videos and some VCDs.
They require a $30 refundable deposit, and movies are $3 to hire - length of hire depends
on how many movies you get (the more movies you hire, the longer you get to keep them all

Happy Hong Kong Video is a relative newcomer, but the proprietor assures
me that none of his videos have English subtitles. So unless your Cantonese is good, you
might be out of luck here.

The Piccadilly Cinema Centre is a discount mainstream
cinema which also screens some of the big new release Hong Kong movies. These are listed

Well worth a visit, with all the stickers and toys you could ever wish
for. Last time I was in there I spotted a set of Chinese Ghost Story figures,
from the animation. They have a small selection of VCDs for sale. Don't forget to go
upstairs to visit Cosmos Video (see separate entry).
And if you must watch your films in a silk king-fu suit or Cheongsam, then
visit Winny at Winnie's Boutique & Gift Centre, 285 Beaufort Street,
