Tsui Hark is back, back, back! I, for one, am very happy that he’s returned to his old stomping ground after a sojourn in the US.

Time and Tide is a big departure from anything he has ever done but that’s not the real surprise – his films have always been incredibly varied. Truth! (After all, it is pretty impractical for me do a dare over this interweb thing – well at least a decent one)

So did I enjoy this one? You betcha. If nothing else it was a breath of fresh air from the romantic comedies out of HK that I have been blessed with seeing recently.
